Designed with longevity in mind, RS50's base includes a slip ring component that provides communication and power for the steering wheel.  In the unlikely event  that this component begins to wear after many years of use, we've ensured that user repair is straightforward in order to get you back on the track with minimal delay.

Why Move to Direct Drive?

Higher Torque (measured in Nm) = Stronger force feedback, but it also means that you can feel smaller forces more easily, elevating the level of detail you receive from the game.

Direct drive bases are known for providing the most powerful and realistic force feedback (FFB). Older force feedback mechanisms involved using gear or belt systems to amplify the power of a smaller motor; effective, but direct drive removes the middle man, ensuring you experience exactly what the motor is communicating from your virtual car.

What is TRUEFORCE?

With more torque, you experience greater force at the wheel—much like turning up the volume on your favorite music. But simply making music louder doesn’t mean it’s better in quality. This is where TRUEFORCE makes a difference.

TRUEFORCE is like high-definition audio for your music: it brings out every subtle nuance, elevating your experience to a whole new level. With TRUEFORCE, you feel real-time feedback generated directly from the game’s physics and audio engine. This means every turn, bump, or shift delivers incredibly detailed, precise, and immersive sensations, letting you connect with the game on a deeper level.

 

What can I connect to the RS50?

You can connect the PRO GT D Rim or the RS Wheel Hub via the built in quick release. By connecting the RS Wheel Hub you are opening up your racing ecosystem to Logitech G RS wheels, MOMO or other 3rd party steering wheels

You can also use the RS QR Adapter to use a real steering wheel as well. But do note this is only available for PC sim racers.
