WHAT IS TRUEFORCE?

TRUEFORCE is Logitech G’s proprietary force feedback software technology. Integrated directly with the game’s physics and audio engines, processing data in the wheel at 4,000 times per second, to deliver a lifelike driving simulation through precise, high-fidelity haptics that traditional force feedback can’t provide.

HOW DOES TRUEFORCE WORK?

Unlike conventional force feedback, TRUEFORCE connects directly to in-game physics and audio engines. It responds in real-time to exactly what the car is doing with unique detail and precision that non-TRUEFORCE wheels can’t provide.

Supported wheels process data at 4,000 times per second, allowing the system to react to rapid changes within the simulation, helping translate subtle moments into lifelike haptics at the wheel.

TRUEFORCE’s sensations can be broken down into kinaesthetic and vibrotactile feedback types:

KINESTHETIC FEEDBACK

Low-frequency heavy forces: Simulates weight transfer, cornering resistance and downforce loads.

Mechanical steering weight: Provides the primary physical resistance and pull felt when fighting a car through a heavy turn.

VIBROTACTILE FEEDBACK

High-frequency fine detail: Layers rapid haptic micro-vibrations on top of standard steering forces.

Surface and engine cues: Transmits engine RPM vibrations, gravel crunching, traction loss, grip levels and surface imperfections directly to your hands.

TRUEFORCE is available on the G923, RS50 and PRO Racing Wheel.

GAME COMPATIBILITY

TRUEFORCE is currently integrated into 25+ game titles, including Gran Turismo 7, iRacing, F1 22-25, Assetto Corsa Competizione/EVO/Rally, EA Sports WRC and DiRT Rally 2.0, with more in development.

Logitech G engineers work in direct collaboration with game developers, allowing supported titles to send detailed physics and audio information directly from the game to the wheel in real-time.

It isn’t just ‘stronger’ force feedback – TRUEFORCE adds an extra layer of detail straight to your fingertips. This could be the variation in different engine types, weather conditions, the texture of tarmac compared to gravel and even the feeling of the tire beginning to lose grip. All of these factors give drivers a better connection with the virtual track they are trying to master.

AVAILABLE TRUEFORCE HARDWARE

TRUEFORCE is available across the 2.3 Nm gear driven G923, the 8 Nm direct drive RS50 Racing Wheel and 11 Nm direct drive PRO Racing Wheel The G923 first introduced drivers to TRUEFORCE in 2020, and the RS50 and PRO Racing Wheel unlock the technology’s full potential through the precision and power of Direct Drive.

Direct Drive eliminates the need for gears and belts, and connects the motor directly to the steering wheel. Direct Drive takes TRUEFORCE to the next level by providing the torque, speed and detail needed to translate even more game feedback into physical sensations. The RS50 delivers up to 8 Nm of torque, and the PRO Racing Wheel reaches up to 11 Nm, giving both wheels the headroom to communicate a wider range of forces.

TRUEFORCE is more than just a vibration effect; it becomes a detailed layer of information that helps drivers understand what the car is doing, allowing for faster reaction time and a more immersive driving experience.

TRUEFORCE is more than just a vibration effect; it’s built to improve racing performance by giving drivers more information on what the road and car are doing.

The more immersive the experience, the better you can perform on the track.
