THE RAPID TRIGGER ADVANTAGE
With Rapid Trigger, you can set the distance in the keystroke when the ‘action’ or command happens. That in and of itself saves time for the initial first shot. Then as soon as your finger lifts, the key resets and you’re ready for the follow-up shot. To fire subsequent shots with a traditional mechanical trigger, a fixed physical threshold must be crossed twice: first during the downward press, and once more upon release.
In tactical shooters like CS2 and Valorant, firing just one accidental extra shot from an errant click is often a sobering reminder that your hardware's physical limitations can quickly become your biggest liability.
Traditional mechanical switches enforce a strict speed limit, which in a way levels the playing field if everyone is using the same equipment. This architecture powers Rapid Trigger technology. Instead of waiting for a physical reset threshold, Rapid Trigger dynamically tracks the key travel and resets the click the exact moment your finger reverses its downward movement. By replacing mechanical switches with analog sensing, the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE can reduce click latency by up to 30 milliseconds.
A highly tuneable burst control system does a few key things. It ensures you fire the intended number of projectiles at your target at a higher rate; it gives you greater command over your weapon spray and reduces weapon bloom (video game shorthand for simulated weapon recoil); and allows for much faster, more accurate counter-strafing.

Customize Your Click In G HUB
Governance over these settings is all made possible via Logitech's G HUB software, the command center for the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE. Rapid Trigger is turned off by default, but players can enable it independently for both the left and right mouse buttons, dialing in five different levels of reset sensitivity to match their exact playstyle.
Removing mechanical switches could easily disrupt the muscle memory aspect of the satisfying click that players rely on for tactile confidence. Logitech solved this with real-time click haptics. Bespoke haptic actuators deliver instant tactile feedback precisely when the actuation is triggered and again when the button resets. It flawlessly emulates the feeling of classic mouse switches, but operates in near silence.
