PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE: INSIDE THE NEXT WINNING CLICK

The PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE launched on February 10th, 2026. It sold out in under a week, earned a Guinness World Record proving its click speed prowess, and has been a staple on the world’s biggest esports stages ever since. But before the engineering phenomenon made it onto shelves, the Logitech G product development team was iterating on the breakthrough product. Together with a cohort of the world’s top esports athletes, the next stage of product refinement was already underway in December 2025.

DIRECT ATHLETE FEEDBACK AND NEW CHIPSET

Early prototypes of the new PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE – the next home of HITS Technology – were already in the hands of dozens of esports athletes, behind-closed-doors at the Winter Workshop. Some already had first-hand experience with SUPERSTRIKE prototypes and could share feedback on design changes. To others, this was the first time they felt the reengineered click – adjustable actuation and rapid trigger reset points, plus haptic click-feel intensity.

Feedback ranged from click speed, mouse feel, durability, and glide. For days, researchers and product designers observed and tracked biomechanics movement and real-time critique. Engineers were meanwhile exploring the limits and efficiencies of a new silicon chipset to push technical optimizations further.

Over the next few months, as reception poured in for the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE, internal design and engineering teams meshed athlete feedback into solutions. The challenge was to bridge what was possible and what kept development moving. Optimization results stabilized for the new NxLOGI chipset and it had proved to be impressively efficient. Battery life extended by 50% per charge and both wired and LIGHTSPEED Wireless connection speeds reported at 8kHz (0.125ms).

STRESS TESTING PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE ON LOCATION

Early prototypes were seeded across PRO Alliance and sponsored teams during the spring. Exposing the build to months of real-world competition would stress test failure conditions no lab setting could in the same reasonable timeframe. DreamHack Birmingham and Atlanta were the next testing grounds – collecting click profiles, motion capture, and further player validation of optimization.

The G2 R6 bootcamp gave more insight. More athletes, more prototypes, more tests, more edgecases. Breaking points were an incentive to improve. Feedback kept teams moving in the same direction.

Mouse weight will also be a conversation around performance focused peripherals, one that the PRO X SUPERLIGHT started in 2020.Through material optimization, our engineering team aligned internal components and reduced weight for a refined balance. PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE now feels lighter, more balanced, and incredibly natural during high-speed swipes.

DESIGNED WITH PROS: THE PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE ARRIVES

By the summer, photographic evidence began circling online of PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE prototypes in the hands of athletes on stage, which all but confirmed its development. We’re proud to offer the next generation of performance innovation, unveiled on September 23rd at the Logitech G PLAY 2026 keynote.

We’re excited to expand the SUPERSTRIKE platform and watch athletes reach for the peak of their potential with peripherals truly designed in direct collaboration with over 70 esports athletes, across 3 continents and 7 months.
