It can be a challenge picking out the right wheel for your sim racing setup; whether you’re just starting or you’re racing at the pro level, there is a product for you.
FINDING THE RIGHT WHEEL
The Logitech G lineup spans four wheel models and three different feedback technologies. This guide breaks down what actually changes as you move through the range, so you can find the right fit for your style and budget.
WHERE IT STARTS
The G29 Driving Force (PlayStation) and the G920 Driving Force (XBOX) are among the most popular entry points into sim racing. These dual-motor, gear-driven force-feedback wheels have introduced a new level of immersion to countless drivers across the world. They cover all the fundamentals and provide an easy transition from gamepad to a wheel and pedals control scheme.

THE NEXT STEP UP
If you’re looking to unlock the next step in technology, the G923 is the way to go. With the same design DNA as the G29 and G920, it delivers a new level of detail through TRUEFORCE, along with enhanced electronics built to support it.
TRUEFORCE is Logitech G’s next-generation force feedback system that connects directly to a game’s physics and audio engines, with the wheel processing that data at 4,000 times per second. What you feel is generated in real time from what is happening in the race, rather than from pre-built effects. The improved electronics in the G923 also make standard force feedback noticeably better, even in the games that don’t support TRUEFORCE.
Like the G29 and G920, the G923 comes in two console-specific versions: PlayStation (PS5/PS4) and XBOX (Series X|S/One). Make sure to choose the version that matches the platforms you like to race on before buying.

GOING DIRECT DRIVE WITH TRUEFORCE: RS50 AND PRO RACING WHEEL
Both the RS50 and the PRO Racing Wheel drop the belts and gears entirely, mounting the wheel directly onto the motor shaft to enable Direct Drive. Force feedback is therefore delivered with less delay and greater accuracy compared to gear- or belt-driven systems. Getting you all the information you need faster and feeling all the details that TRUEFORCE provides to improve your racing performance.
RS50 WHEEL BASE
The RS50 Wheel Base is Logitech G’s entry into Direct Drive, delivering up to 8 Nm of peak torque with TRUEFORCE. It's sold as a standalone base, allowing you to build and upgrade your setup over time to suit your budget.

PRO RACING WHEEL
In the premiere class of Logitech G’s sim racing lineup is the PRO Racing Wheel. This is an 11 Nm Direct Drive wheel designed with and for professional sim drivers. At this torque level, it delivers the closest real-world driving experience Logitech G offers.
It also shares the same Direct Drive and TRUEFORCE foundation as the RS50, built for the most demanding and realistic sim conditions. And it features contactless magnetic paddle shifting, engineered for millions of shifts, each as precise and consistent as the last.
With the Racing Adapter, you can mix and match your G29/G920 pedals and the Driving Force Shifter on the RS50 and PRO Racing Wheel, alongside other accessories like pedals, shifters, handbrakes and wheels, all made to grow with you on your sim racing journey.
