Designed with Pros is Logitech G’s collaborative design  program, leveraging our science-led, athlete-driven product development framework for all PRO Series products. It’s also the fundamental principle behind PRO Series.

It symbolizes the mutual pursuit of elite performance and competitive edge through the collaboration of hundreds of esports pros and Logitech G internal product, engineering, research, and marketing teams.

Designed with Pros is also the storytelling platform where we show behind-the-scenes and from-the-lab insights of the processes involved to develop your favorite PRO Series products.

We work with esports athletes through dedicated product feedback workshops, prototype testing, interviews, and on-site performance research to better understand the exacting needs of pro players. Our collaborations are deeper than paid athlete endorsements; pro player input directly and fundamentally affects all PRO Series gear.

We use cutting edge research and years of historical insight to inform our product design decisions and contribute research to improve the industry’s performance knowledge base.

Our product development teams are a global engine, with various different offices centralized around engineering, innovation, and design. 

In Lausanne, Switzerland, our ergonomics team works constantly to refine our understanding of the human body, and all the ways that gaming at the highest level can stress and strain pro players. In the case of PRO Series gear, esports athletes' elite-level gaming habits are recorded through biomechanical testing to inform product & feature design that ultimately supports a combination of muscular longevity and player performance.

The LERO Esports Science Research Lab at the University of Limerick in Ireland performs dozens of studies each year; ranging from reaction time, to biomechanics, to spatial perception, to the effects of mental tilt and sleep deprivation on players’ performance.

Product design teams across the globe work closely with players through dedicated workshops; covering mouse shape and feel, to keyboard height and key press depth, to spatial audio, to build materials and feature integrations.

PRO Series’ core philosophy, “Designed with Pros. Engineered to Win.” signifies that every PRO Series product is the result of years-long collaboration between research scientists, designers and engineers, and the world’s best esports athletes. This collaborative design process has three distinct stages: innovation, validation, and education.

The innovation stage is centered around learning as much as we can about the esports athletes themselves: their needs, their habits, their pain points… and then taking these learnings and applying them to future product development.

Next, we move to product development and prototyping. This process of validation not only helps make sure that the products we’re creating for the PRO Series line truly meets the needs of pro players. It’s during this stage that we test, refine, and sometimes even rebuild - all with the ultimate goal of creating products that truly serve the needs of esports athletes.

The final stage is education: making sure that players not only have easy access to our products through programs like the Logitech G PRO Alliance, but that players understand the performance benefits of our products as well.  In addition, we share learnings from our human performance research with the goal of helping pro gamers perform at their best.

The PRO Alliance Lounge is a pop-up performance support lounge designed for esports athletes to recover before and after tournament matches. With on-site massage, nutritious snacks and relaxation areas, the PRO Alliance Lounge offers players a level of support not found anywhere else.
